Zach Closser was born in Mankato, Minnesota on February 3, 1979. He and his six siblings were raised on a hobby farm in Northfield, Minnesota. Zachary attended college at Denison University in Granville, Ohio where he majored in economics and was an active member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. Zach attended law school at Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. During law school, Zach was an intern at the Conservation Law Foundation in Providence, RI. He was also a member of the Phi Alpha Delta fraternity. Zach and his wife moved to Charleston in 2004 in pursuit of warmer weather and Southern charm. Zach began his employment at Smith | Closser in 2006
