Emily Hansbarger was born in Dayton, Ohio. She attended Aurora University, where she received her bachelor’s degree. After college, Emily moved to Charleston, South Carolina to attend the Charleston School of Law. Emily joined the firm in February 2022.

While attending Charleston School of Law, Emily was involved in several organizations. She served as a Senator on the Student Bar Association and co-chaired the Law Student Congress of The LGBTQ+ Bar. While serving as co-chair, she assisted The LGBTQ+ Bar in developing and implementing National LGBTQ+ Scholarships for law students.

In Emily’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Tyson, photography, shopping, and reading.
